HOW TO CHANGE YOUR MINDSET FOR GROWTH THAT WILL LAST FOR GENERATIONS?

I myself am a Malay and I am very sad to say that most of us Malays do agree that a lot of the other Malays out there are not proactive. When you pay them to service you, along the way, they somehow fail to give you what you want. So many excuses and empty promises. Even I used to make those mistakes. Those simple mistakes that shouldn't even be there in the first place. The reason we lack proactive individuals in the Malay community is only because our parents never thought us how to be proactive. Somewhere along they way, they have forgotten to teach us the art and importance of good decision making and making money at such an early stage. It has been proven that by circulating money around one country would improve its econony. We should be part of the economy.

It is time for us Malays to change our mindset. We need to become more realistic about the decisions we make and instill great interest in making money for others (wife, kids, family, close relatives, friends, and the poor). We need to start somewhere. We need to build that 'Supply Power' so that our generations would not lose out one day. It is very important that we should alreay feed our nation with the real power of unity by changing ourselves first so that others would follow.

I believe that we can change our fate and standard of living, and the fate of our children for generations if we carry out any one of those I have come up with below. Here's how:

EDUCATION: Parents should teach their kids about Money. What are the basic terms and what money can do for them. The profit and loss, the interest and dividen and potential investments. Children have higher chance at remembering things and it is the best time to introduce them the knowledge about money. Provide them the pipeline to their very first savings and investment and guide them along the way.

EARLY INVESTMENT:

Parents themselves should start investing in gold or properties for their children at an early stage. As the children grow older, the assets will grow with them and by the time they are old enough or married, they themselves can decide what to do with it. With Gold, Silver and the right Property, you can never go wrong.

THE POOL MONEY:

This trend can be much easier to achieve for those who come from a less fortunate or poor background. Working parents can start pooling money for their child's future. It could either be for their higher education or for them to start their very own business. Once, they finish high-school, you explain to them that the pool money was saved solely for their future and it is very important that they tell you what they really want to do with that money. Also let them know of its consequences. If they fail, they will lose the money and all opportunity to become successful. Let them choose to either use that money to further their studies or help them venture into their own business. With your guidance of course.

SHARE YOUR PROFITS:

We Malays like to keep our money within ourselves and are always afraid to share our profits. We would rather work so hard ourselves to earn 100% of that profit rather than sharing or using that profit with another person who can cut our job in half. The reality is, we can't do everything. In the end, if things go wrong, we would either just remain a small entity in the industry or just close shop. Spend more to make more. If we can't do it, others can do it for us. All you need to do is summon an expert to help you achieve your goals. Get your network growing and eventually you will find the right person to do your job for you. Don't be afraid to share your hard earned wealth with others who can easily help you make more of that wealth where it came from.

BE HUMBLE:

Lower your gaze. Do not be greedy. Do not get in the way of others and try not to rob or sabotage anyone else. Build a respectful relationship through the network of people you know. Always have the will to learn. Talk to others who are more experienced than you or get their help. If you don't know, ASK! Do not be afraid to discuss your ignorance. Pray your way through it. Become proactive and positive. Always resolve problems that arise. Make good decisions and decide what suits you best. And of course, GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!!
